I’ve already mentioned in this blog that players like the PokerStars bonus code because of the top notch customer support and fun promos. If you’re new to the various promotions, you should look into the PokerStars All Star Week, scheduled for July 26th to August 1st. The week will feature a number of heads-up tournaments between Team PokerStars Pro and a team of Challengers that must qualify via satellites. Have I piqued your interest enough to make you try your Internet slots another day? Probably not, so keep reading and see if it changes your mind.
PokerStars is proving they’re one of the top Texas Holdem sites on the Internet by offering a $25,000 prize pool. Five heads-up matches will take place each day during All Star Week. The winner of each match will receive $1,000 and a win for their team. After all 35 matches have taken place, the team with the most wins will receive the $25,000 prize pool.
In order to participate, some of the site’s best players might have to take a week off from Daniels Room poker. You must participate in freerolls to win a spot on the team. To play in these freerolls, you will have to have made a final table of one of the PokerStars majors last year or you have to be a Supernova Elite. To give more incentive in these freerolls, each Challenger will also be offered a $1,050 WCOOP ticket. The WCOOP is likely to take place in September of 2010. If you’re a fan of earning bonuses, take note that there will probably be a new PokerStars bonus code to celebrate the series.
If you cannot play the satellite freerolls, you can try a Wildcard satellite. You’ll need to pay an entry fee to participate, but it will be worth it. The top three in this tournament will also win a spot on the team and a WCOOP ticket.
Once you have finally made it to the Challenger team, you then need to earn the chance to play one of the heads-up matches. You’ll need to win versus your fellow team members in these matches to qualify to play the PokerStars Team Pro heads-up in the same type of poker during All Star Week. Challengers also go up against each other for the All Star Week MVP award by collecting as many points as possible. You score one point for playing in a qualification event, three points for coming in first place in one of these tournaments, and then five points for winning $1k in a heads-up tournament during All Star Week. If you have experience getting dealt lots of hands in casinos for US players, it should be easy to enter as many events as possible to rack up those points.
Every type of poker that PokerStars offers will have a heads-up match, so All Star Week should appeal to all those that have used a PokerStars bonus code. Also keep in mind that if you failed to earn your place on the Challenger team this time around, you will have another chance next year. To ensure your spot in the freerolls, it would be a good idea to spend less time in Mac compatible casinos and more time receiving hands at the tables. Good luck!
